# Ocean

This component allows the planet to have an ocean. The ocean consists of a static sphere mesh with configurable material, size, and resolution. Noise cannot be applied to this mesh for relief since it is not a clipmap, meaning ocean zones are considered flat.

* **Has Ocean:** A boolean that enables or disables the planet's ocean mesh.
* **Sea Level Km:** The sea level in kilometers, which changes the size of the ocean's spherical mesh. It can be adjusted to a level similar to that of the clipmap mesh to create the appearance of shorelines.
* **Ocean Resolution:** The resolution of the ocean's spherical mesh. This will affect performance.
* **Ocean Material:** The material applied to the ocean mesh. You can use the material we provide called `MI_CosmicOceanV2`, or you can create your own material to apply to the ocean.
